La Rambla is the wide boulevard in Barcelona that runs from Placa de Catalunya to the Port Vell. It is this area that many tourists and parties take place, mostly on Friday and Saturday night. If you are lucky enough to find a room near this area out of all the Barcelona hotels, then you won’t have to travel far to be part of the night life here.
You will probably see street entertainers like a mime artist, acrobats, clowns and even flamenco dancers. Near this are is also the Gothic district with many fun bars that are geared toward budget travelers and students. You can head toward Port Vell and its modern complex which houses five clubs and bars at the top. These bars begin to fill around 1am and will wind down at 5am.
If you are looking for a casino, Port Olympic is where you can find one along with little clubs near the Marina. Continuing down along the Barceloneta beach past the casino, you will have a choice of three restaurants that become classy bars at 1am. Famous for its scantly dressed dancer, that are both male and female, is the BaJa Beach Club. There is a little bit of everything in the town of Barcelona.
