Alice Kempes went on a cruise on the Nile and we decided to share her experience with all of you:

One of the best, if not the best, cruises I ever went on was a river cruise. It sounds underwhelming, but when you hear that it was on the Nile, I’m sure you’ll understand my delight. First of all, the ship was one of the cutest small liners I’ve ever seen. Packed with all the modern facilities, it clearly emphasizes on comfort and the happiness of the passengers instead of packing as much people as they can in the ship. But all of it pales in comparison to the beauty of Egypt and its historical temples. We were lucky enough to have the most excellent weather, despite some excessive heat, and we saw some of the most beautiful temples and archeological sites in the world. If the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon are simply terrific, temple complexes like Luxor and, especially, Karnak are simply breathtaking. But I must admit that part of the excitement of walking along these sites full of history was knowing that I had a cool and cozy cruise ship to go back to!

What better way to remember a trip than to have a souvenir that reminds you of all of the great things you did at your travel spot?  Souvenirs can be a simple t-shirt or hat, or be something decorative and enjoyable as a centerpiece on your favorite coffee table.  Whatever it is, travel souvenirs are always readily available in gift shops and from vendors in any place to which you travel.

Whenever you are out on vacation or taking a trip to a new place, it is fun to see all that souvenir shops have to offer.  Keeping family members and close friends in mind will also be a task when souvenir shopping.

You might know someone that collects figurines or a specific item that you might come across on your travels.  Getting them a gift might make your relationship come to better terms as well as helping to contribute to their collection. In some cases, souvenirs are used to bring to friends and family members that they would have not had the chance to collect as they may not be travelling to that destination.

Taking travel trips can become a great chance to create a personal collection of memories that are enjoyable with souvenirs.  Many people enjoy traveling and collecting souvenirs and it has become a common practice with those who travel very frequently.  There are literally no travel destinations that you can go to without finding at least one souvenir shop!
